Performance company Switch is a rapidly-evolving vehicle for the creation and sale of live art and experimental performance. The company is led by artists Justin Allen and Ewelina Kolaczek, who make, produce and curate work individually and together. They also work with known and emerging live artists, including Fakir Musafar, Robin Dingemans, Helen Schoene, Mark Butcher, Katharine Fry and Kira O'Reilly. Switch has presented work at venues in London and across the UK, including Fierce!, Duckie, Torture Garden, Queen Mary (University of London), Live Art Falmouth and Chelsea Theatre.
Justin Allen is a live artist and curator exploring human connection, intimacy and taboo. In his work he often risks vulnerability and exposure to make a connection. This leads to the creation of tender shared moments for individuals and small groups. Justin is the founder of performance company Switch.
Ewelina Kolaczek is a live artist and curator. She involves audiences in spaces and experiences where they can examine reality in meditative, uneasy or poetic ways. She is fascinated by the human body's capacity to create and hold memories. She often uses scent and touch as ways to communicate with and reach audiences. Ewelina is a core artist of Switch.
